Q:  How do I get my pet to go into their new Snugrug?

A:   We recommend that your pet’s introduction to their new Snugrug be as pleasurable as possible.

Many cats and dogs have a strong burrowing instinct and will readily enter their new Snugrug.  However, it may be helpful to entice your pet into their Snugrug.

We suggest that you place your pet’s favourite treat  inside and towards the back of the Snugrug.  Provide verbal encouragement to your pet to find the treat. 

After several repetitions of this procedure, most pets are happy to enter their Snugrug without further enticement being required.

If your pet appears timid and does not wish to enter the Snugrug, please do not force it to do so, but provide periodical enticement using their favourite treat.

Most pets quickly realise that inside their Snugrug is a very enjoyable place to be.

Q:  How do I care for my pet’s new Snugrug?

A:  

• To keep your pet’s Snugrug looking its best, we recommend that it be laundered regularly.
• Remove mattress from Snugrug and remove the mattress cover.
• Machine wash Snugrug and mattress cover using warm water and domestic soap powder.
• Line dry or tumble dry using warm setting.

Q:   What do I do if there is a flea infestation?

A:

• Remove mattress from Snugrug and remove the mattress cover.
• Soak the Snugrug and the mattress cover in a solution of diluted flea rinse for 30 minutes prior to machine washing as set out above.
• Foam mattress may also be soaked in diluted flea rinse solution.
